All a sudden they realize there are not alone as an antique looking box is sitting in a bedroom. The Box has a note attached that says “For the Collector”. creepy right?
As the husband and his wife stairs at the box in front of them, he attempts to open the box and is confronted by an evil looking intruder from behind.
This is the first time you will cross paths with the hideous looking character called “The Collector”. The plot thickens as it takes you to another family that is in the middle of remolding a their home.
There are several different service providers outside of the family’s house installing alarms, pest control and people setting up electronics alarm systems as well.
The family is leaving that night to go on a trip together. Later that night someone desperate for money has an great idea to burglarize the house while no one is there.
As the burglar breaks into the property and gets ready to take anything valuable he notices he is not alone.
The house has been made into a museum of torture with all kinds of traps and inescapable locks on the doors.
The burglar hears blood curtailing screams through out the house as he to will quickly be face to face with the black leather mask of the collector. Maybe this was the wrong please to steal from.

TormentedFilms.com Review
After watching this movie I was at awe, because it was a huge let down. Honestly I thought the movie had some potential after it started throwing the punching quickly in the start.
Ok were should Tormented Films start with this half-baked shot at a horror movie. The collector looked like a normal man in black with a really creepy mask I honestly believe the mask was the scariest thing in the movie pretty good prop.
A house that was being remolded earlier in the day somehow the collector within a couple of hours was able to turn the house in to a full-blown torture chamber. With putting extra bolts on each door and placing trip wire throughout the house connected to different killer methods and was able to board up each window in the house. Sure.
Looks like it would take months of work to achieve these huge accomplishments. The collector is a pretty small masked killer could not have weighed more then 145 pounds but had almost super strength able to through people around like they were rag dolls.
Never get to understand why he is the collector or who he is. A lot of the scenes reminded me of Ichi the killer and Saw not to original. The main problem with the movie is that it winds you up with suspense to really leaving you hanging wondering what just happened and the movie is over
Too suspenseful, not scary, no plot and left me confused at the end.

I liked the movie, at the beginning, it looked like it was on a roll, but at the end it amazed me that a 7 year old girl can outwitt the mask but the adults couldn’t. And the end, how could all those knives fall on the collector and not one scratch. When the collector goes to the ambulance to get Arkin he was miraculously healed! Wow! Makes you wonder if there is going to be a part 2?
yeah the movie was a little to unrealistic the collector for being 5.9 and about 145 pounds manages to have super strength ok i don’t even thing he had the strength to carry the case. Plus all the work he did in the house to make it into a living nightmare would have taken at least a week. The collector at the most was ok
bad ass movie
I really enjoyed this horror movie. Hopefully, they will make several movies of The Collector (The Collector I, The Collector II, etc.) I could watch The Collector several times and never get sick and tired of it. Congratulations to the producers, actors,… and keep up the good work!
Hmm really i had a couple issues with the movie it kinda left me hanging with a lot of questions at the end. It would make sense for the movie to elaborate more on the origin of the character and thicken the plot … by the way how would you have enough time to make a house into a slaughter house in a couple of hours?
